MMU Santa Crawl - Melbourne
Following a meeting with City of Port Phillip, Victoria Police, Yarra Trams and representatives from all the venues, MMU regretfully informs you that it has been forced into an unenviable position. It will not be involved in the organisation of the Santa Pub Crawl, which was planned to occur on 9th December 2005. MMU are disappointed to not be able to contribute further funds to the selected charity following the success of last year.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience for those of you who have organised Christmas parties to coincide with the Santa Pub Crawl and apologise. However, we do wish you a Merry Christmas (though just not quite as merry as last year) and remind you that as an individual you are free to make up your own mind about where and when you have a beer in a Santa suit!
MMU looks forward to bringing you a superb alternate event in 2006.
PS: We understand an email is circulating purporting to be from Head Santa. This was not sent or endorsed by MMU or anyone associated with MMU and Head Santa and his hat will not be attending this year.
