Santa Bar Crawl - Manchester 2005
Santa Clause is coming to town ...
Welcome to the 2005 event of the year.... The Inaugural Manchester City Centre Santa Pub Crawl
We will be starting the pub crawl in Scu Bar, Oxford Rd (behind the Aquatics Centre), taking advantage of the private area we have booked out and the dedicated bar staff, not to mention the 8 bottles for £8 offer. From there we will head up Oxford Road to the centre of Manchester, visiting 5-6 pre-booked bars with a final destination of the Walkabout Inn. We have been reserved 80 places at Walkabouts, with a half price entry fee of £3, and a "queue jump" to walk straight in! The only requirement is that you are wearing Santa attire.
Santa suits are readily stocked in: Instore, Woolworths, Tesco's and various other stores for a measily price of £10.
We have a large contingent of seasoned Santas, enthusiastic novices and hardened drinkers attending the crawl already, and the crawl is intended for individuals from all walks of life, so please bring friends and family, the more the merrier.
All are encouraged to build up some confidence (and chemical protection against the cold) at the gathering in Scu bar, where all will be explained.
