Terry & Susan's Santa Crawl
Hey Santas, We are gearing up for an early Santa Crawl this year....Santa Johnston #4 due Dec. 10th!! Santa Neil has set us up with some really cheap Oshawa Generals tickets for Friday Dec. 5th vs Mississauga Ice Dogs. & He might set us up with some freebee drinks in the Bobby Orr Lounge in between periods - we'd get preferred access to the lounge.
We would charge each person about $10 for a $12 ticket with proceeds going to charity & the more people we have the more money goes to charity because he can get us some extra tickets to throw into the fray.
There is a restaurant called the Tickled Toad about 2 blocks from the Arena to meet before & we are about a 5 minute drive to downtown Whitby to go after the game. We don't even have to stay for the entire game....maybe 2 periods.
Think of this...2500-3000 people seeing potentially 60 Santas all sitting together in one section! We would also like the money that we raise to go toward helping a family provide gifts/ food for Christmas. This would bring lots of meaning to our event.
We would also like to buy boxes of those cheap Candy canes & sell them to each Santa for charity & you can give them away wherever we go. Please check the list of people we have sent this message to & let us know who we missed & please answer ASAP (before Halloween) which you prefer...
